My Character Bio’s
A highly skilled former Bone Hunter who was part of Clan called the Terrorizer’s. He now serves as a military leader for a small village on the edge of the Wilderness of the Vahki. Known for his military prowess, sword making, and weapon fixing skills, Ackutis is not someone to mess with. He has the protective nature of a lion and his loyalty to Metusess and his adopted daughter Little Metus knows no bounds.
Metusess is an Agori who having lived in the village of Wonati for several years met Ackutis and through circumstances yet to be explained, ended up joining him on his journey and starting the small beacon village with him and his friends. Very skilled in both the kitchen and the battle field, Metusess is a unique Agori. Though her origin story is unknown to anyone but Ackutis and Toa Gelu, rumors say that she is more than she appears. Time will tell.
Toa Gelu (ge-lu)
Toa Gelu is a Toa of ice. She was trained to be a Toa by none other than Toa Ackar and Toa Hahli. She is skilled in many weapons but her favorite is her spear. Known for her quick thinking and vast knowledge of her environment Toa Gelu is a valuable asset of Toa Ackar’s Team.
Toa Ackar (a-car)
Toa of fire, Ackar was the first Toa of Bara Manga. Ackar is a former veteran glatorian, who now teaches others in his ‘old’ age. Though he will in an emergency take up the sword he doesn’t do it very often. Such is the case when he lead the Toa in the first battle for Mata Nui valley and the battles to follow it. Known for his bravery and wisdom he leads a team of Toa to rescue their land from the Evil Makuta Taradax.
Apprenticed to Ackutis as a sword smelter, Malum is a pretty quiet person. Most people know only one thing about his past and that is that he was once a Bone Hunter and one of Ackutis’ best friends from the hoard. He is respected by most beings in the village for his determination to finish his work. Slow-witted and slow on his feet in a fight, Malum is better placed over the smelting fire than in the battle field. Oddly, this is by his own choice…
Little Metus (m-eh-t-us)
When Metusess’ and Ackutis stopped at her village near the end of their journey to the place where they would start their settlement, they found this little one alone and scared with no memory of her past beyond that of a village beggar. They decided to take her in and teach her all she needed to know to live a successful life on Bara Manga. Smart and willing to learn, Little Metus has a cheerful disposition and loves to play kohli. Though at times she can be stubborn, she loves her new parents with all her heart.
Toa Hahli (hah-lee)
A Toa of water, Toa Hahli is one of the oldest Toa in Ackar’s handpicked team. Being more known for her wisdom and healing abilities than her skills with weapons, she is still a highly skilled warrior with a no tolerance level for tyranny. Kind and thoughtful, she only rebukes when someone absolutely needs to be corrected. Considering her older age, Hahli only keeps up her fighting skills because she is the only Toa of Water on Ackar’s team. If it where not for this and the constant danger from Makuta, she might fully retire to healing and teaching the next generation of Toa.
A former Bone Hunter scout, his skill in hunting is unmatched by any but Ackutis and that is debatable since Ackutis has given up hunting altogether. His weapon skills are all over the map though his favorites are his bow and taser sword as in the picture to the left. He is a valuable part of the villages eco system and a stout fighter for freedom.
Toa Nuhri (nu-ree)
A Toa of Earth, Toa Nuhri is one of the few earth Toa to ever serve under Ackar. Known for being reckless in battle and headstrong in normal circumstances, Nuhri is a someone who most Vahki should fear. His abilities are unique and his favorite weapons are his pincers though he doesn’t use them as often as he would like. Regulations or something like that.
Apprenticed to Ackutis back in their Bone Hunter days, Skullous is now Ackutis’ second in command when it comes to military issue’s. When he isn’t out patrolling the city or hunting with Tarduk he can be found hanging out or helping Ackutis in the shop. Like all the Bone Hunters in this story, he doesn’t talk much about his past and no one beyond his fellow Bone Hunters know very much about what happened back in the day.
A member of one Makuta’s personal guard squads, Verda is the last person you would think would be willing to betray her leader. Then again she is one of the few Bone Hunters who sees his cruelty everyday on a regular basis. For instance, she knows that if Makuta didn’t need the Bone Hunter to defeat the Toa, he would kill them all without a second thought.
Newly made commander of one of Makuta’s personal guard squads, Sculless is one of the most respected and feared Bone Hunters ever. Known for her skill and cunning, she and her partner Skullous were known for finishing any mission with almost no mistakes. Her squad used to be part of the moving army. Then one day everything changed and her squadrons thinking changed overnight. After both Skullous and Ackutis left the Bone Hunters, the squad was resigned to guard duty…. Which just happens to be the most boring job in the entire army.
Toa Takuess (tack-oo-ess)
The only TIT (Toa in Training) of light, young Takuess has been under pressure since day one. The other trainees learned quickly not to tease or try to get her in trouble because she has a very brilliant way of shining the light on the truth. The only thing holding her back from becoming a full blown Toa is the face that she is the only Toa of light yet to be found on Bara Manga and so there is no one to complete her power training. Known for her calmness and her diplomacy even with her most hothead companions makes her a favorite amount the older Toa. As such, she has more responsibility than any other TIT in history.
Toa Tahu (t-a-who)
A TIT of fire, Tahu is an opinionated hothead with hot temper to go with his stubbornness. The good thing is he has finally, after many different types of discipline and a ton of Ackar’s patience, learned to follow most orders. After this was learned it didn’t take him long to be one of the best TIT when it came to flame throwing, a necessary skill for his generation.
A Toa of Air, Kungu is known for the fact that he rarely speaks in the lingo of his tribe. Especially when he is among his fellow Toa, unlike any of the other Air Toa before him. Kungu, is however very intolerant of disrespect or outbursts of temper by anyone but himself. This of course makes him harder to get along with for his fire brothers and sisters. Quick to think and act in battle, Kungu is not someone to mess with whether you be Toa, Agori, Vahki, Rahi or wild beast.
Toa Kopaka (co-pac-uh)
A Toa of Ice, Kopaka has a habit of being silent and observant only speaking his opinion when he sees that it is needed to bring a debate to an end. Often you will find him in a library or staring at the stars ion search for more wisdom to help him advise his fellow Toa. Looked upon by both Hahli and Ackar as a future leader in the making, they both have encouraged him to continue his pursuits hoping that one day the younger Toa will take their place as the leader of the team of Toa.
This Bone Hunter is skilled with technology and has a habit of looking on the down side of things. He is skilled with the Vahki blades he carries which he uses with effectiveness to rival even the Vahki themselves. Calm in battle but cautious in all else, Neokor is an asset not to be ignored no matter his effect on squadron moral.
Toa Onearo (Oh-near-oh)
A close friend to Toa Hahli, Onearo is a Toa of Earth with a cheerful disposition. He finds the bright-side of everything, and hope where the was none. A fierce fighter whose aim with any type of gun is unquestioned. Loyal no matter what, Onearo is a good friend of Mata Nui and will follow his commander wherever he may lead.
Toa Scarlet (scar-let)
A friend of Toa Nuhri’s since training day one, Scarlet has a habit of hanging out with the outcasts. Kind, compassionate and slow to anger Scarlet is the opposite of what most people think when they think about a Toa of Fire. Her loyalty and willingness to do her best no matter what the task has made her a favorite among the older Toa. She is very skilled at mask making and the use of the fire bow.
Mata Nui (mat-ah -new-ee)
Mata Nui is the only Toa of Life in the entire galaxy. Known as the creator and protector of the Bionicle universe, Mata Nui was a just but kind ruler. When an unexpected betrayal sent him into limbo and then to the wastes of Bara Manga, he made friends with Toa Ackar and was able to help save the local civilians from a terrible plot. Strong, loyal and always willing to learn, Mata Nui is a great leader.
A born craftsmen, no one knows why Koro chose the life of a Bone Hunter. Many say it has something to do with the destruction of his home village, but no one really knows. Koro rarely shares his opinion on anything and has trouble trusting anyone. However, his skill with technology is hard to beat and his loyalty, once earned, is hard to break. His favorite weapon is his fists, which he can use very effectively.
Toa Seaura (see-aura)
A Toa of Water, Seaura loves to tend her garden with her partner, Onearo, above all else. Even so, she is ready to use her fighting skills to defend her farm and her people. A close friend to Toa Hahli, Seaura charming and old fashion ways often throw the younger Toa off. She may not act it, but her skills with the rifle make her a force to be reckoned with.
One of the few brave Agori who ventured out to the settlement near WV, Galactian is one of the 4 wall guards for the settlement. While he isn’t on duty, he spends his time on the wall tops studying the sky and stars. Though his fighting skills aren’t anything to gloat about, his voice when raised can be heard for miles, hence his job on the wall tops.
(Note to self, Characters who still need pictures: Toa Scarlet, Mata Nui, Seaura (see-aura))
