This drawing is done with marker on 18×24 in. paper. The assignment was to create a design with an absence of focal point. I tried to include a lot of important symbols from the culture, including gods, famous pharaohs, animals, and spirits. I searched the internet for for an art related hieroglyphics quote, and found the one I included on the slab in the sky. The translation of the hieroglyphics on the ancient Egyptian sketch is: “No limit may be set to art, neither is there any craftsman that is fully master of his craft.”
