I took this photo for a photography class assignment. For this assignment we were given a list of words and told to take a photo that represented the word to us. One of the words was family. This photo is of a letter I got from my grandfather surrounded by photos of my family and some of the things he included in the envelope. Creating the shallow depth of field and getting it to focus on the signature was a difficult but fun task
